EAST ZONE SCHOOLS SKIPPING CHALLENGE 2008 (MOE)

 

Guinness World Record for Most Number of People Skipping Together in One Place

Over 3100 participants from 54 schools in the East Zone District came together to set a new skipping record for the most number of people skipping together in one place.
 
Vitage Fitness’ responsibilities include:
 
  • Venue sourcing – Source for a venue to house more than 3000 students as well as ensure that it was suitable for skipping activities.
  • Crowd control & security – Ensure that systematic procedures were in place for crowd control as well as First Aid standbys in the event of an emergency.
  • Schools invitation and coordination – Ensure that there was sufficient participation and that all participating schools were well-informed about the procedures for the event.
  • Submission of materials for qualification to Guinness World Record, London – Prepare logistics and administration to ensure that sufficient evidence was collated for submission to London.
  • Rope skipping training – Provision of rope training lessons to ensure that all participants were able to skip for the event.
  • Media release & publicity – Promote and liaise with the media about the event.
