SOUTHEAST SKIPPING CHALLENGE (SECDC)

Various locations in the southeast district, June – July 2008

Vitage Fitness was appointed by the Southeast Community Development Council (SECDC) to manage a series of rope skipping challenges and road shows, which led up to a finale – the Community Sports Festival held at the open field next to Kg Kembangan Community Centre, 5 July 2008.

The road shows included rope skipping performances and the fund raising event, Skip for Rice, where every 100 skips is equivalent to a donation of 1 bowl of rice by Dairy Farm Group to needy residents of the district.
Vitage Fitness also provided training in leadership and event management for youth leaders to assist in SECDC’s community events.

As part of an ongoing effort to promote rope skipping in the southeast district, Vitage Fitness continues to provide free rope skipping lessons to the public at East Coast Park every Saturday.

Venue: Bougainvillea Garden @ East Coast Park (near carpark F3, beside Sunset Bay)
