WHAT IS WALKROBICS?

  • A series of entertaining and unique exercise sessions that combines aerobics with walking movements.
  • Participants will discover strategies on how to increase daily walking activities for their health benefits.
  • Each participant wears a step-o-meter, which measures their step targets.

The target audience is seniors aged 45 years and above.

WHY WALKROBICS?

  • Encourage active aging in adults 45 years & above ;
  • Encourage the use of the pedometer which is recognized as a powerful source of motivation to increase physical activity;
  • Discover practical strategies to increase daily walking activities;
  • Provides a simple pre-choreographed exercise routine for seniors to follow;
